From Necktie to iPhone/Cellphone Holder
I've been buying old neckties for dollar or less and I have a pretty good stash of them now ,I want to make some iphone/ cellphone holders . I just love the colors and patterns on ties ,even the ugly ones . HERE is a link to the tutorial I'm going to use.
Do you have any upcycle/ recycle projects you make?

ahhhhh can you make me one big enough with the case on it? I have a wallet with an iphone holder on it but my case is so big my iphone won't fit.
Some of those ties are too good to be cut up!! I bet they will make outstanding phone holders anyway... You find the neatest projects.

I made a wreath last year with some of David's old ties. I hung it on his closet door this year for the holidays! I love this idea too. I've also seen tree skirts made from ties somewhere on the web.

I actually have necktie sling bags. Use the necktie to make the strap only problem is its not adjustable.

I wonder if you could make one that actually ties around your neck, we need something like that for my mother-in-law so she would have her phone on her person all the time ( well... except at bath time, however getting her to take a bath is like pulling eye teeth so we could work around that)
@mlbncsga - I would think I could make a phone pouch that goes around the neck , maybe not out of a tie.

It's not a project but I take home the plastic bags the pillows come in for the ER beds here . They are the right size for my kitchen trash can, so I don't have to buy bags and there is less trash going into the hospital compacter. I try to catch whoever is putting out new pillows and have them save the bags for me.
