Sharing a Bed...
Women will snuggle up and sleep in the same bed with other women,
friends, sisters, moms ,nieces, cousins etc.
I have even slept in the same bed with a woman I did not know
on a women's retreat.
I will sleep next to anyone who can stand my snoring,
and if it's freezing I might even let them snuggle, I am like a furnace.I saw this scene on Breakout Kings, on the show
these are tough guys who don't even like one another a lot
sharing a queen size bed in a hotel.
Haaaaa, that would NEVER HAPPEN!
I believe that most, if not all straight men would rather sleep
on the floor or in the bathtub
than share a bed with another man.Will you sleep in the same bed with another adult (non sexual)?

Yes! Actually I have slept in the same bed with a lot of my friends, even guy friends. I didn't even know it was abnormal til someone told me! lol
@ShimmerBodyCream - I do not know why people think it is abnormal, we always did that too, I've even slept in the same sleeping bag with people already but that was a LONG tine ago when there was room for someone else.
I've seen men sleep on the floor in hotel rooms to avoid sharing beds with their male friends.
On the other hand, I've also seen (straight) men snuggle with their (also straight) male friends under the same conditions, so... I guess it can go other way...
@TheMushyPear - I have to say ,I have never seen straight men snuggle,I have seen them hug.
Nothing like a good old fashion sleep over my friends and I when I lived back home would always have sleep overs good movies food and good wine but I don't think guys do that they go camping but each usually has their own sleeping bag I think
I used to sleep in a twin bed with one of my friends from highschool. A head at each end of the bed.. never thought anything of it. Haha.
I share my bed with my cats, not with my brother or my male friends (even gays).
I don't mind sharing the floors with them though. I crashed on several of my friends places after parties.
I would actually prefer to sleep on my own, but I'm kind of weird like that. XD
yeah, I do..I have no problem with it. However some of my friends wouldn't do that.

My best friend and I shared a double bed when we visited Calif. Luckily we each got to sleep on the side we were used to. Once I went to a ladies conference where a friend and I shared a double bed. Two other ladies shared the 2nd bed in the room. The hotel was across the street from a busy train track. Between the ladies' snoring and the train whistles I didn't get much sleep. My friend commented that her father used to say he'd rather sleep in the same bed with a wet dog than another man.
My friend and I shared a bed all the time in college when she was fighting with her roommate. The only thing I didn't like about it was waking up stiff from having slept in a state of tension because I was afraid I'd roll over and push her off the second bunk.

Yes. It comes from growing up poor and crowded. You do what you gotta do in the most comfortable way possible.
Oh I didn't realize people would think its weird sleeping with your friend?? I did all the time in high school. That's when the best conversations happened!
Haha. You're very right! My husband would sleep on the floor before letting one of his guy friends share the bed with him. The only adult I'd be comfortable sharing a bed with is my best friend, but other than that it makes me extremely uncomfortable.
I've slept in the same bed as my best guy friend and it wasn't awkward or anything, but apparently its not appropriate. [Esp. when you have a bf]

Yep. I have in the past (went to a conference and had to not only share the room but the bed). And no doubt will have to in the future... My husband would sleep on the floor rather than share with another guy... unless it was a family member - and it would have to be extenuating circumstances. hehe!
yes and I have. When I had a roommate and the electric went out in a storm in the cold of winter. Wectric came back on and the storm was over.ectric came nack on.e both had on jammies and sweats on. We shared blankets and stayed warn sleeping in the same bed til the electric came back on.
This topic just came up the other day with a group of friends... I was amazed to hear how men seem (to me) to be so crazy about sharing a big bed with a friend. Most women have shared a bed with a gf throughout their lives (more often I think as teens and young people). I can't say it is something that crops up much as I don't get to sleep alone much and take full advantage of an empty bed. If I go away with female friends, I prefer to have my own bed and my own room.
I had the snoring of my sweetie... but he heats up and I love having my very own "furnace" to snuggle up against at night. My feet always seem cold (year around) so it's a great advantage (among other things). Thanks for posting this! ^..^
Nope. No matter how cold it has gotten, even in the winter in the mountains of Afghanistan, I have never slept with another guy. I like my space. I would let a woman sleep next to me, leaning on my arm or shoulder, under certain circumstances. But when I sleep I sleep alone and that is how it will be as long as I am single.
Apart from the sexual innuendos which others will be sure to employ, I think sleeping in the same bed implies an intimacy, vulnerability, a relaxation of one's guard with which women are nearly always more comfortable than are men.
I would never do it with another man and my wife will not let me do it with other women. I have never asked her. I can just read her mind on this one.

I would rather sleep on the floor/chair/outside than share a bed with another man.
Mom and dad grew up poor and had to share beds all the time (My mom says she never slept in a bed alone until she went to college!) so I grew up with my cousins and I piled in the same bed whenever we slept over, and sharing beds with friends during sleepovers... people who think there is something inherently "sexual" about sleeping in the same bed as someone need to grow up, or at least realize that beds do not have exclusive jurisdiction over sexual acts.

It's not weird at all. Sharing a bed with (almost) anyone is better than sleeping on the floor when you're exhausted.
My husband has been going on the same trip with his college buddies for 20 years and they always share beds with no problem. They are a fantastic group of guys who all happen to be straight, and are enlightened enough to do this without taking issue or making it a big deal. The world could use more men like them.
I'd rather share a bed than sleep on the floor! I've always shared beds with my friends (male and female alike) and I've never seen it as being weird at all. Some people are just prudes.
If I was tired enough I would sleep with almost anyone...on cold nights I sometimes sleep with three dogs-the canine variety

I'd rather sleep in a bed with someone than to sleep uncomfortable on the floor. I platonically slept in a bed with a fellow Xangan, I'll keep who to myself lol

It is true: men rarely (if ever) sleep with other men. How sad, really, a throw back to the ALPHA male days, no doubt.
Sleeping with someone is such an intimate thing to do - more so, even than sex, I think. I have never shared a bed with a stranger, but I have slept with a good many people, over the years - friends and famiy members. My all time favorite person to sleep with is Miss T. I hope she won't outgrow sleeping with her YaYa any time soon.
Sleeping in bed with another person whether male or female has always been uncomfortable for me. Either I feel like they are invading a sacred place to me or I'm invading theirs if I'm in their home.

We did on women's retreats because the rooms for 4 to a person and the place was not cheap!
I had to request a place in a bed twice in my lifetime . Otherwise I would have been sleeping on the ground in the cold . At this time there was no question of sex .
