Being Watched
There are different things around here
that make me feel like I am being watched...Someone hung this old clothespin bag up here,
out of the corner of your eye it looks like someone standing there.
I walk through this room in the dark a lot
and always feel like someone is there.
Someone in the greenhouse had fun putting the cowboys
we made for the Poinsettia show around at different places,
sometimes they startle people.
And this pic is in the greenhouse
This one is at the Goodwill in the dressing room at eye level,
and every single time I go into the dressing room
and I see that poster I think someone else is already there,
it's like she is watching you undress.I sat outside to watch the show one day after I was done shopping
waiting for my mom.
People open the door and then close it right away saying "I'm sorry!"
then they realize it was not what they thought
and peek inside to double check.

Thats a little bit creepy. Those are the kind of things that make me jump. Then I get edgy for a while.
hahaha, I love to people watch.
Teara has a huge Roy Rogers stand-up that still scares me and makes me go into my kick-boxing mode. I finally moved him over to the guest house.
lol. I would feel the same as you.
People watching is so fun!!! Lol that is so funny! I hate that feeling of being watched..
That feeling of being watched creeps me out.
That guy behind the flowers really pulls off the creepy angle.... but has a sweet set of mutton chops. ;)
Good stuff lol
Yeah! But you see faces in water faucets! shglaf! Oh! There are some faces I would love to see all the time! But Murphy works overtime!
The beautiful women are watched !
Love
Michel
Those would startle me too.
Wow! I usually take a moment to survey my surroundings. What really used to creep me out were those guys who would sit in their cars in the outer edges of parking lots and "keep an eye on people who think they are alone." That was common in the Boston area,in the 1960's.
ha! that is funny. and interesting.
do you ever see ghosts?
Not to freak you out, but I got a bird's eye view of you after bathing. I have a drone that looks like a butterfly and is able to capture incredible images. (Luckily, I bought it from @restlessbutterfly, and it was a good deal as the govt. wants an arm and a leg for one!) Just to let you know, I think you're gettin a little low on your lotion....
My mom had a life-sized George Strait cardboard cutout for a while. Every time she walked in the door, it scared her nigh to death.
This is intriguing, Beth. I noticed once I started building realistic scarecrows that I was dealing with an un-ignorable power. Humans, even when they discover that an image is a fiction, seem to continue to react to it. I couldn't even dress my scarecrows without feeling odd, especially while adjusting the crotch for wrinkles, ha.
And yes the worst ones are the coincidences, like your first pix of the clothes-pin bag. I certainly see why that one could haunt a person.
Haha. I like the cowboys everywhere. The one behind the flowers would probably give me a heart attack.
my grandpa has the same jesus picture in his cellar (where his desk used to be) and it always made me feel like that, too - even though its not even like he's looking at you in the picture! haha
LOL. I hate public changing rooms. O_O
Spooky...eyes are everywhere!
You'd hate the mannequin we have in the living room!
LOL my grandma use to have a John Wayne thing and my grandpa could see the silhouette of it in the house when he got home from work. He though grandma was putting out tricks
Looks like the greenhouse folks are having fun with the cutouts! Goodwill has those posters all over. Lucky for us they are not on the wall opposite the dressing room doors. Bet you had a good chuckle watching the reactions - I'm easily amused too.
I can't recall the name of it, but I have one of those wooden things where you can hang a shirt on it, and there's a place to hang pants also. It's located at the foot of my bed. It scares the bejeebies out of me when I wake in the middle of the night, cuz it's where I put my clothes out for the next day.
@jsolberg - I've found scarecrows rather scary, or at least creepy, since I saw the Doctor Who episode Human Nature & Family of Blood.
I always end up having a jacket or hoody hanging from my bedroom doorknob, and sometimes when I'm in bed trying to go to sleep I'll catch it out of the corner of my eye and it will startle me, thinking there's someone there.
Love, love LOVE those cowboys! I have a mannequin in the corner of my livingroom and a paper suit jacket hanging on the back of the bathroom door that startle me every now and then. And then there was the time, many, many years ago, (I was 23 and pregnant) when the jallosy (sp?) window was cranked open at just the right angle and I caught my reflection as I went through the kitchen, home alone late one night. I screamed so loudly I lost my voice for several hours afterward...hmmmm...maybe THAT explains my youngest son . . . ((laughing)). Give those cowboys a big ol' MUAH from me - and keep one for yourself. MUAH.

my grandmother had the same Christ frame, it always scared me
something that made me feel "watched" were those dolls whose eyes would seem like they moved.
@BigToePeople - Will do and thank you!
@seedsower - Wonderful, thanks!
Hahahahaha! This is a great, smile inducing post Beth! I love it! Also, your default pic is so beautiful! Love that smile!
I hate it when I have bejeebers scared out of me by what I *thought* was a person standing there, only to discover that it was a shadow or something silly!
I would completely come unglued to open the door to a dressing room and see that, thinking it was someone! LOL
Did you get snow this week?
Cute entry! We had one of those pictures of Jesus in the livingroom when I was little and it used to creep me out because I thought the eyes were following me!
It always feels like...
Somebody's watching meeee!!!!
