Laughing at Yourself
I have been copying all my pics from CD to an external hard drive.
I ran across this pic of me and it made me laugh at myself.
I am trying to look all cute and there lays my poor dog suffering,
after he pinched off the end of his tail in the door.
No compassion at all.
Can you laugh at yourself?

I laugh at my antics quite often which is a good thing for sure
I'd be an angry, bitter, frustrated, regret-filled person if I couldn't laugh at myself. Laughing at my shortcomings helps me see them in perspective and release their hold on me. It's one of the best things I do for myself.

If we didn't know how much you live to make his life happy, we could see, in this picture, you saying "There, I finally got the mutt to learn to lie down and play dead." Yeah, I laughed too, even before I read the text.

I laugh at myself all the time...well, maybe I'm not laughing at me but with me...
...poor Cider, I wonder if those cones of shame amplify sound for dogs? Maybe I'll try to get one for my husband - he can't hear nuthin.....

I rarely ever laugh at myself. Most everybody I know is already doing it for me.
Absolutely! Never have been able to take myself to seriously and laughing at myself makes life much easier. You have a truly wonderful smile. Poor pooch.

I do, all the time. It usually beats crying- or pissin' and moanin'.
I would kill myself if I couldn't laugh at myself! I laugh at my shortcomings and foolishness. I also laugh at my own jokes, including when no one else is there and I don't even speak them aloud.

Aw, looks like he was having himself a nice nap! I laugh at myself all the time. It's either laugh or cry, I choose laugh, it's a lot more fun!
I am amazed by people who do not laugh at themselves ... constantly. I laugh at myself every minute and I'm much smarter than they are but I do silly things. See, there I did it just now by writing that. And I'm laughing again.
I love the dollhouse in the background. My grandmother collected them - antique ones, especially. I miss her and them.
