Are You Sick of Fall Photos Yet???
My husband is taking me to beautiful, picturesque
Lancaster County today to run some errands.
I am taking the new camera.
I hope to get some pretty fall pics.
I need a name for the camera...
I want suggestions.
This is what it looks like...
This is what it does...
Yesterday my husband made this pretty bouquet for me and
sat it by my computer where he knew that I wouldn't miss it.

NEVER!
NEVER!! EVER! NEVER!
Bring them on!
@angi1972 - They are on the way.
I love them! So much better than election stuff!
Donkey Guy for Vacation! Miss Smarty Pants Knows the Answers! Long Live the Queen! Hi Mom! Who Won?
Could never be sick of them - I want more. Please. =]
No way! Put em' on!
Nope! I had a dream last night that I was camping at the foot of a beautiful snowy mountain. I kept trying to take a picture of it, but things kept getting in the way or the angle was never right.
you must be kidding me?
No, I will take fall as long as it lasts!
Kathi
Those are awesome!!
New cameras are fun. I'm really happy with the results I'm getting with the Olympus I picked up last week.
How could anyone ever get tired of your pictures.
no way-I'm not tired at all -bring it on!
I'm just jealous you have so many pumpkins! LOL- keep these wonderful photos coming- they're so beautiful!
i LOVE your pics, Beth. the set on this post makes me appreciate fall -- my favorite season, btw -- so much more...
Really great pictures.
what ^they^ said! i especially enjoy them since we have so little fall color in this part of the country.
it's too early in the day for me to think of something clever to name that camera that you have. maybe later...
Fall is my absolute favorite, so bring 'em on!
A good name for a camera. Hmmm... I dunno. Let me think on it.
You are so talented, we could never be tired of your photography!
Mornin Glorie....silly girl....the new camera should be called "Damn I'm Fine" or DIF for short! If you didn't post pictures how would we know how beautiful it is in Pennsylvania
no
Never! not from you. You are the best xanga photographer everrrrr!!!!! =) You really are very talented. A lot of your stuff looks like it should be up in an art gallery somewhere. it would be cool if you had a gallery in a barn, framed all your pictures and showcased them!
My favorite season is Fall. Always has been. Yet, I live in an area of the country that only has about a 2 week fall.
For the camera name, I'm going with the obvious.....Nikki.
you had those developed and scanned them,,, right,,, thats not a digital camera,,,,, right,,,, it dont look like one,,, awesome pics tho,,,,,
NO I look forward to seeing your pictures - Keepem coming!
I will never tire of the beauty you capture with Beth's Baby!!
Keep those pictures coming!! Since it is a Nikon, I say name it Niko, pronounced, NEE-ko.
I love your fall photos! It is one way I can experience fall even while in Central America! Thanks!
The photos are beautiful, but I know the truth...a camera is only as good as the photographers eye! Thanks for sharing these Beth!
BTW: Hubby did good on that sweet bouquet!
I love what 'Cammie' does!!!!!!!! Never, ever, ever tire of your fall pics or any pics of yours!!!
Congrats on your camera! I don't think that I replied back when you told me (bad Kimmi...). You are going to love it, I'm sure!
How often do you go into Lancaster County? I haven't said anything about it yet, on my site, but there have been more than a handful of trips there by myself, as of late and it's not for the chocolate. ;o)
Well I was thinking Nikki, but someone else already got it ~
Oh lucky you. I love that area. It's been a few years since we have been there. Must try to get back there one of these days
I don't think i could ever get sick of fall pictures.
"ImagePortal"
Never
Can't wait to see the new ones from Lancaster County.
Very nice pictures..
Ohm, I would name it Lucy.
I got erased; will the camera accept lenses from a D80: name it Lucy,
Uncle JIm
It does accept the same lens. I really love this camera so far.
@mejicojohn - Thank you! I do have a great 35mm film camers as old as the hills,it was a Nikkormat made in '67 ,all metal,a great camera .
nikkormat,,, that name rings a bell,,, i may have had one once too,,, the focus didnt work on it tho,,, i would probably have fixed it,, but someone stole it i think i recall,,, i believe that was the name tho,,, i bought it used for about $150,,,, which is why the focus didnt work on it,,,,
What kind of errands do you run all the way up there?!
@SeafoamMermaid22 - We went HERE to check out peddle cars for the Route 66 theme...we are now in the process of painting a "Cars" room with Flos V-8 , Lizzie's Curio Shop and Ramone's custom shop as one of the displays for the Poinsettia show.
beautiful photos , Beth .
No we are not tired to watch fall pictures .
For the camera name I suggest :" Eagle "
Love
mIchel
The pictures you took are simply beautiful!! Thanks for sharing it with us, & we'll never get tired of them.
Love them! How sweet of your husband!
Love the photos!
It's so cold now, feels like winter.
Great pictures!
I love these photos. That's so sweet of ur husband btw XD
How about Ziggy? My favorite pic is the sixth one down. They're all great, though!
@wherethefishlives - I like that pic too, that green field is asparagus,After july the asparagus is not harvested and it matures into those green ferns that you see in the field. They gather energy during summer to be stored in the roots, ready to ensure another good crop the following spring. The ferns also catch and hold snow, protecting the below ground portions of the plants. It is amazing how nature works.
everytime i see your post, the name "bethbaby" pops up (i.e. for your camera)!
Cindy.
who tires of fall pics? we only get them for a couple short months! interesting pumkins- are they cancerous? miss hearing from ya. ah, the hubby is catching on- he's figured out how to get your attention- see, you did pick a good one:)
oh a name for the camera: Snappy:)
... or Pixie
I call my camera "Bee"...because beauty is in the eye of the "Bee" holder. And, well, I take pictures of what I think is beautiful.
Never ever! I love your photos!!!
A name for the camera... Pumpkin, of course!
I think a word for the person behind the camera should be 'amazing'.
a name for the camera tho...hmmm...let me think..hmmm for some reason this keeps coming to mind:"Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the worlds a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama dont take my kodachrome away"
You have a great eye for photography. Beautiful pictures.
Never tire of Fall photos. These are GREAT! Now, correct me if I'm wrong but your camera morphs into squash and stalks pretty trees?
Sorry, I had to say it. You could name it Morph.
how about-COOL EYES.
You got a D90? I'm so jealous! Which lens did you get?
@dan - 18-105mm lens,I want a better zoom but have to wait since this was my present for last Christmas, this Christmas and one birthday.
In Aug when my next birthday rolls around I will get another lens.
This camera is phenomenal! I had been using a Sony Cybershot for the last six years and it is a good little point and shoot but the shutter speed on the D90 is 4.5 frames per second continuous shooting and it has 3D focus tracking.
Beautiful as always. I think your camera looks like a Lucy =0)
congrats on your dslr!
The pics are wonderful, think you have added another avenue to your career. Start selling your photos along with all the greenhouse items. Or just keep 'em coming here.
Whimper, whimper, whine, sniffle, suffle, sob. You got Nikos the Nikon! That is the camera I am hinting strongly to someone about. I love the idea of the digital camera, but need something with better lens capability and hopefully one that will work with the Nikon lenses I already have. That way I can eliminate the 35mm from the bags when I pack.
I love your photos, please keep them coming! As for a name for the camera...something spunky could be cute...maybe Lexie? Or you could call it Pixie (short for pixel...get it?)
@skittler335 - Pixie is so cute!
Sigh. This is so beautiful and perfect!
I love the photos..great..
