I Miss Everyone
Just a quick post to say that we are having a good time here in the High Sierra.
Yesterday while we were up at Lake Mary,one of the Mammoth Lakes, we saw a mama black bear and two cubs going after some fish.
I did not get a good pic of them but I have lots of other great pictures to post when I get back.
I miss you all.

We miss you too. I bet it was awesome to see the bear. Just remember the bear is more afraid of you than you are of it.
Have a great time. Never seen a bear except at a zoo.
At least it was not a grizzly bear.

Ohhh I'm envious! I was born in Bishop and lived there and in Mammoth back in the 60's when the 'hippies' lived all over. Mammoth was just a small little village back then. We fished and camped right there at Lake Mary and several other surrounding lakes. Continue to enjoy!!!

Awesome cant wait to see the pics.when I lived in the mountains in Virginia we would run across the bears in the streams and side road parks....be safe...dont feed the bears.....

Yes! I remember seasons from when I lived in Illinois and Michigan as a kid! It was always summer though when we visited PA! So July is the only season I associate with PA in my mind... Wild blackberries... July 4th... Huge bond fires out on the ole farm... Camping out in tents... Long hikes in the woods... Toasted weenies and marshmallows... Poison ivy...
