Keeping My Hands Busy
For as long as I can remember I have always had a project,
something to do with my hands.
Calligraphy,doodling,
fixing broken things (video cassettes was my specialty)
sewing,embroidering, stamping, beading, knotting bracelets,
editing photos, crafting, growing and drying flowers,
making wreaths and bows,
playing my mandolin, sorting things,
Scherenschnitte, writing letters, making collages...
right now I am making "Tea towel Angels"
to sell at our Poinsettia show.
I usually sell about 500, is that enough for a legion?
The nice thing about the angels is it can be taken apart
and used after you get tired of it.
It is a tea/dish towel,dish cloth and hot pad.

A Photo Edit
These are from the same photo yet the
overall feeling from each pic is very different.
I think in this pic you see the differences between them more; height, age, ability.
His little white hand stands out. And you see it is on a farm at sunset.
What I wanted to show in this pic were the similarities,
the T-shirts and sweats and the way they stand.
I also wanted to capture their closeness.
