About Me

  • About Me: About me...I love Jesus, my hope and my security. I also love my husband and my dysfunctional but very funny family. A big part of my life is being Aunt Bessie to my great nieces and nephews. I love to talk to people and hear their stories. I especially get a kick out of watching people and noticing the funny everyday things they say and do....like watching my mom trying to extract money from the ATM,if she needs $120 she'll do the fast $40 three times!!! I work in our greenhouse love to take photos. We have a huge garden and I preserve many things. I keep my hands busy writing, doodling, sewing , crafting or playing my mandolin. I love to cook and dislike doing dishes. I love people, photography, old movies from the silent era to the 40's, most types of music, reading(especially southern stories) and old junk or what they now call 'vintage things'. I'm either barefoot or in Birkenstocks. I love to laugh.

From the very start, you've always been a cheer to me- even that first comment you left me regarding your collection of mosaic tiles. And then you reached out even further and sent me letters when my computer failed back in March. It was nice to know I was missed:)
