Before the show a local gentleman brought us photos of his
trip on Route 66 in 1954,
we were honored to include them in the show.
Las Vegas looked different in 1954!!
We started with a map and general info posted on the wall

Starting with the Chicago Illinois
the Sky Line
(I will put our display is the first photo,the second photo will be the actual landmark)
We had a fountain for
Buckingham Fountain
and the famous
Lou Mitchell's.

Santa Monica Piera row of blue poinsettias for the Pacific Ocean.

Aww I love what you did with the 'diner'. It's so cute! I wish we would have come! Jordan would have loved it!
Coney dog restaurant is here in my hometown as well as the man that had the original hippy van that was used in the movie Cars. We have a lot of activities based on the old route 66. We eat catfish on friday nights at the route 66 cafe.
You did a swell job ...as usual!!
Next years theme...maybe the famous wonders of the world..Just a thought.
