Modeling on the Beach
I was teaching the twins how to take photos of people,
teaching them what to look for in the lens and how to hold the camera
(or phone in this case since the Cannon Powershot got wet!)
it took a while but they finally got the idea,
I let them tell me how to pose etc.
She had me stand under the boardwalk
Here a big wave came in and got me all wet, she caught the moment!
He had me sit on the sand and he took one of me,
I mentioned to be aware of the background, the post is an obstruction and
one of us should have moved to avoid it behind my head,
beside me would be fine.
I can get rid of it easy enough.
He also took this one of us together
HERE are great tips for taking a portrait, it is worth the click!

This is one of the best posts I've ever seen from you. Wouldn't it be nice if the oceans were so clean it would be the color of a light bluish green? Anyways, you look like you had tons of fun and I am happy I clicked on the link.
I love your face when the wave got you! Haha!
That is so neat. Love that wave coming in.
Great pics, and I love that you are passing your photography skills on!!!
Great timing! Your nieces and nephews have a wonderful teacher.
Beautiful.
The one he took of you sitting in the sand (post and all, haha) is my favorite.
You give good lessons on photography and you are also pretty darn photogenic. Off to check on the tips you linked.

Fabulous photos! Good grief, Beth. You are one of the most gloriously radiant people I know! THIS is why I love your blog.
My single daughter used to be a model and she had me take photos of her posing. She was good at it.
Loved your photos!!
I agree that the post coming out of your head needn't be there, but you look absolutely great there. wonderful smile and I like your top. I like the one of the 2 of you together as well, and it goes without saying that it's a precious memory that he caught your surprised face when the wave comes in. Thank you for sharing this series with us.
Nice pictures! Love the one where the wave got you! Hope the water wasn't too cold!
