What a wonderful series -- makes me think she's saying "look -- I can fly!" And I'm sure she landed on both feet!
This was great!!
Now that's freedom.
do you know this little girl, beth, or was this a perfect moment caught on film?

Now, that is a great series of pictures! Freedom to dream, perchance to fly, fly away!
@speraquodvereor - I was on a tour bus and saw her as we rounded the corner. She was so sweet in her white summer dress.
Ah, to be so carefree again. Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos!
What a great "train" of pictures.
How sweet! The freedom of childhood is a wonderful thing!!!
Very beautiful.
Aww! ONe of Mildew's favorite songs!
THis would make a great stop motion film... it looks like she's doing a little sky dance.
I had to think about that for a very long time before it made sense to me. I agree.
Hi Beth! I have some catching up to do on your posts!
Beautiful. I was feelin nearly as faded as my jeans. Feelin better now!
That made me feel happy and sad at the same time.
I want that.
@Xcholo4u - Oh Miguel...I have missed you. You are a sight for sore eyes. I think of you and am always so happy to see you my friend. I am glad that it made sense to you...she has the freedom to jump and pretend, the freedom of a carefree summer to dream and be.
Of course, Beth! You're one of my favorites here!
@Drizzles - Thank you! I appreciate it, I really do. Sometimes when there are a lot of comments folks think I don't read them but I do,and appreciate each one.
That was fun... thank you..
Simply lovely! There's nothing more beautiful than the sweet innocence of a child.
Awesome pictures! They really capture the innocence of childhood and the child in all our hearts.

I kind of like just the last one by itself... it speaks volumes.

@StewieIsMyHero - I like it alone too, some people thought she was tripping.
I love the second to last picture. They're all fantastic.
Great series!!
i love this sequence. now that i have a camera that has a 'burst' mode, i've found myself shooting more and more sequences.
That was my older brother with the Davy Crocket shirt!
Amazing photos that are a excellent analysis of a behavior and a row of sucessive actions to get a complexe behavior . This could be a scientist study . The first photographers use this process to study the run , the walk . Those photo moving and scientist in the same time . Love
Michel

Those were great-and you totally managed to capture what it's like to be young in summer!
My first thought..."Oh, to be a kid again!" To feel that sense of freedom and love of life! But just I realized, in Christ, I have that kind of freedom. And then to live in America. And then to have the amazing family and friends I have! I can embrace my "child-like" thoughts, actions, giggles, and love of life!
Great post!
