One Beautiful Morning
I had my nieces overnight and we walked to the bus stop this morning,
it was so beautiful outside.
My niece said "You have humongous feet!!"
I have square feet but they aren't really big.
She said "Your shadow!"
Their Grandpa stopped on the way past to show the girls a chipmunk
he had caught in a trap and was freeing in the woods.

Wow! I want some of that beautiful sunshine! Cute little girls, by the way, and your neice is right about that shadow; it's downright strange; doesn't look like your foot at all.
It is a beautiful day in every way.
The chipmunk is cool.
What a beautiful fall day! And what a big foot
!!! The niece in pink is beginning to look a lot like you
.
Wow what a gorgeous morning (: (: (: I love the last photo best <3
Those are some happy, well-loved kids. I love your dark-haired niece's smile; it's a true Seedsower smile!
Chipmunks are extremely cute. Once on a bike ride, we pulled over to the side of the road to rest (outside of Aspen, CO). A chipmunk came up over the edge of the flat area and climbed up on my foot and licked the sweat. (I was wearing sandals.) Then it hopped off and went back down over the edge.
kids say the cutest things.
Your nieces are gorgeous. Love all the images.
Oh there is just something about that morning sun, and the light in the eyes of a child, that you capture so beautifully. Thank you, Beth~
@WildWomanOfTheWest - @Roadkill_Spatula - @Babyboomerjill - I added a pic, had to!
I could have lived without knowing that! lol sweet little birdie. lol
@seedsower - haha, isn't that the way it is sometimes!
those birds ... drat them!! cute photoblog B!!
Those darned birds. They sure can mess up a fine day, until they sing out an apology, of sorts! Your family, and surroundings, are as beautiful as ever.
I enjoyed the pictures. Love the shadows too. And, wondering what went through her mind when the bus left....
nice shoes. It has been a gorgeous day. Thanks for sharing your morning.
haha, Surprise ending. Such is life, constantly. Imagine it didn't ruin the day, though.
awww! I'm sorry about the bird poop! At least you have a sense of humor about it! lol!
@jaydedheart - Nope ,never,it was funny.
Beautiful pictures and beautiful girls. Glad to see Grandpa is nature minded. Loved your reality comedown at the end.
I hope the girl were not put on the bus to travel by themselves. I don't ever let my grand daughter out of my sight when she's here. Don't worry! I don't hassle her, just keep a constant eye open.
@Lovegrove - That was the school bus and they ride that a few miles to and from the school everyday.
the girl in pink has beautiful eyes.
your pictures are getting better.. i see the progression.
I was going to comment on the girl in pink's resemblance to you, but I see my pater familius beat me to it.
Aw, they're so sweet!! lovely pictures!
ROFL. You are so funny, Beth. I love the pictures. I caught a chipmunk once when I was a kid and carried it home. My mom screamed and told me it could have rabies, so I threw it down and it ran away.
Ha! That's life for ya
Beth, your nieces are so lovely! Those big eyes!
I showed my mom this, she said to tell you:
"Shit happens."
Lovely pics of your morning and day. And if a bird had to poop on your head, at least it didn't happen first thing in the morning...
Beautiful morning, minus the bird.
nice
AWWWW
Oh goodness! Great shots of the girls!
Your niece in the school bus has the most beautiful eyes and they all look like their Aunt Beth. Oh no bird crap in your hair. The darn seagulls get me every once in a while too.
They are just toooo cute Beth! Wonderful post!!!
Hahaha! You crack me up - sorry you got pooped on! I love that 5th photo.
According to my mother it is good luck to have a bird poop on you! I've never been that lucky. hehe! Guess its time to buy that lottery ticket!!
Awwww.. They are beautiful kiddo's and woow that's sym sunshine lol.
You are so talented!

That girl has some big pretty eyes!! I think that chipmunk may come back!
I had a bird poop on my shoulder but hair would definitely be yucky. Going to orientation classes for a HUC, health unit coordinator. Details on my Xanga.
