Xangan #115 RighteousBruin
I had the pleasure of meeting @RighteousBruin/Gary today
as he passed through Pennsylvania traveling west
with his father-in-law and a brother-in-law.
So far I have met 115 Xangans that I did not know before Xanga.
They were fun company and we all had a great time
It was a short visit, long enough to show them around the greenhouse and have lunch.
I hope the next time Gary visits he will be able to stay longer
I think he would love to see some of the beautiful farms and mills in the area.
Gary posted about it HERE

Fun times meeting new faces
That is awesome.
Sounds fun.
Very cool! Did you two just grab something to eat?
@Roadlesstaken - I made lunch, White Bean and Chicken Chili and some other stuff.
Looks like a wonderful visit! I love the quote about the foxes cooking their dinner — we don’t have foxes here, but we see fog like that quite frequently!
Wow! 115 Xangans?? That is so awesome!
Envy.
that’s awesome! You’re lucky you get the opportunity to meet great people =] Glad to hear you had fun.
Very cool. One of these days I’d like to visit the east again…. too much I haven’t seen out that way.
Beth, every time I see a picture of you, I’m struck by your beautiful smile.
Seriously.
You have the kindest, prettiest smile.
That being said, I’m jealous you got to meet Garebear! And I’m jealous he got to meet you! One day, I shall meet both of you. Hopefully. This is my newest life goal.
Oakley Sunglasses have made such a mark in the designer sunglasses section that the word – Oakley is often used as synonymous to ‘designer sunglasses’. The ‘aviator’ is the most popular Oakley sunglasses in its entire range of products. Though this design was churned out long back but it’s still the ‘in-thing’ in fashion. Presently, they are a fashion accessory that makes you look ‘cool’. This has led to a complete evolvement of Discount Oakley Sunglasses. These days, markets are flooded with attractive and sleek sunglasses brands.AB4HJYLFNPsupple hope damn
It’s gotta be fascinating meeting these folks in person….
… do they always work out to be like what you expected?
What fun! 115 Xananites, that is so very neat!
I love white chili!
Wow, very cool! How fortunate you are! Most of us won’t ever get to meet many (if any) of our Xanga friends.
115? Wow! That’s a bunch of Xangans!
Aaawh! That is so cool, to be able to meet people you’ve known through the internet for some time.
When I went to Florida a few years ago, I was able to meet some Floridans I knew for about seven years of an internet forum. Was so cool to spend time with people you talk to a lot.
@roscoes_farm - Yes each one was like I though, only better!
*waving* Hi Gary! Hi Beth! Did Gary get out of there before all the flooding?
You look extra cute in that outfit, Beth!
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Thanks, ha,I look like a hillbilly that is why you like it, he did get out before the flooding here! It was something else, a flash flood, all the streams and creeks by the roads overflowed and even the highway flooded, I went to the store and I had to do some quick thinking to make it home,I drove through a lot of water but there was no current so it was OK, some places had raging currents and cars were floating around. Gary is a jewel, we has a short but sweet time.
@seedsower - I must admit, I like hillbilly!
Flooding can be scary. I had friends who drove their truck into water they did not realize was deeper than their truck. They almost drowned, had to take refuge on the top of the floating truck until help arrived.
It sounds like you had a nice visit. WOW! 115?
That is quite nice. I’m glad you had a pleasant time.
woot! You have the most fun! I’m just happy to have met you and saintvi, Passionflwr86 and Sandra in person! I’m anxious to head west and meet some others!!
Barefoot Contessa!
Cool. I’ve met a few Xangans, but not nearly so many as you! I always enjoy it.
@seedsower - I can’t thank you enough, Beth. I am so glad you didn’t get swept up in what happened after we left. We met a man from Tunkhannock, in Northeast PA, whose home was flooded out. He had lost everything and was headed to his family in Wisconsin.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - I got to Chicago, Tamy! The rain followed us all the way to the Windy City, but has now stopped.
Super cool!
