  • Okay here's a personal tidbit - One of my best friends is a very successful professional photographer in town.  My immediate family hears all the time from me how his pictures don't hold a candle to yours.  Not even close.  And his are good, so draw your conclusion. 

  • These are are incredibly beautiful, as your photos always are!!!  I had never heard of Chihuly before, so that was a treat.  Also, the blue bottle caps placed diagonally among the red made me think of some very cool version of Bingo; WIN!!!

  • Not usually my favorite color, red but you do it well.  We have a joke around here that no one is to let MK dress me for my funeral.  She wants to put me all in red.  She'll probably get her own way just 'cause I'll be dead and can't do a thing about it.  You almost make me want to try my hand at this.

    Oh the trucks and trains win my heart.  The distant barn where the red shrubs is framing under it.  The bottle caps!  I have a crush bottle too, can you spot it?

  • At first I was keeping track of the specific photos I like but I soon lost count, the are all so great.  I must say I really liked the picture of the red brick showing through the white plaster, and all of the red brick buildings (we really don't have anything like that in CA).  I was curious... the picture of the green grass and the red spears shooting up... what was that?

  • you do RED good ... i'm not sure i can pick a favorite ... but lemme see ... the first vine-covered window ... the off-kilter look down the metal framed footbridge ... the leaf caught in the fence ... the 2nd frozen berries ... yeah ... thems my favorites!! 

  • I feel like I'm just a broken record here, but WOW these are all so great and I just absolutely love this idea. :) I really love the two hat "models" and the winter berries covered in ice. They are all SO stunning! Thank you for sharing!

  • I love the Amish women in the red dress. That's always been a favorite photo. I recognize a few of those - I have a few similar photos! It will be fun to see how many photos we have of the same things at the end of summer. I promise I'll take mediocre pictures so yours will look more artistic. *snort* Like either of us could do otherwise!

  • These are all so good! I love the one of your mother peeling apples? Also the Ragedy Ann doll (I remember you snapping that one!). But my favorite is the red barn in the distance framed by the red flowering vines - beautiful composition!!
