  • I am jealous of dog owners. And I am jealous of your love for nature, because I hate being outside, really. But I love the sight of those flowers. I remember when I was a kid, I have always dreamed of fields of flowers. Just bunch of them all over the place. And wanting one day to grow flowers as a yard, having NO grasses.

  • You touch an awful lot of nature there, Missy.

I do believe that you touch enough nature for the both of us.

Suddenly, I feel less guilty for not touching any. ;)

  • Yay for greenhouses!  Your efforts will bring lots of joy, and starting now-you will have plenty for the late Easter.

  • I can almost smell the dirt and the plants and Cider. Spring can’t come fast enough for me.

  • I’m really getting tired of the same old flowers. Last year I planted some vines and ground cover which I hope will come back and do good this year. I also hope my passion vine will return like it did last year. This year I didn’t cover it with leaf mulch, but we had lots of snow for insulation. My prize is a Boston Ivy I planted near the deck to climb one of the trees. I let my Basil go to seed and scattered them all over in places, so I hope to see wild Basil growing everywhere too. I have a wood pile of dead branches in the back, so I took the tubers from my sweet potato plants and just threw them back there so maybe I’ll get luck and they will take off too.

  • I loves me a big pile of earthy soil.  I can hardly wait to start playing here at our new place~ my mental wheels have been spinning for 6 months now.

  • and I am curious who you sell to…do you supply other stores with plants? do you sell out of your place as well? the plant I bought at Christmas is still beautiful.  will have to transplant it soon.

  • @kafekotka - We sell most of it retail here and the rest of it wholesale at the produce auction if we have something we have too much of.

  • @sugar_mama - That is just one, there are fourteen that we use here.

  • @seedsower - that is good…. I will plan to buy some plants whenever I get around to visiting you for real

  • Do you plant things in the same order? I mean like the first to get planted are the geraniums then the  Calendulas or whatever
