'Round These Here Parts'...
...a lot has happened in the last few weeks.
I took shots with the camera on my phone as I went.
Here is a glimpse into my daily life as it happened.A little boy was in and out of the hospital
and a girl got a Sock Monkey Hat
.A new baby was born, welcome Katie Anna
and I made her a
Taggie blanket We made Valentines
My old 1930's Kitchen Aid mixer
finally got a new cord
and I promptly made "whoopie pies"
which were promptly "et"
We bought fancy donuts that were promptly "et" also.
We took a trip to "The Melting Pot" ,which we really enjoyed.
Nothing is "promptly et" here though! It takes forever.
We had
Spinach Artichoke Fondue, it was so good!
A batter to dip
veggies and meat in
and then fry them in oil
and Bananas Foster fondue
for dessert.Movies....
I took Ma to see True Grit, which I loved.
I took some nieces
to see "Tangled" which was good too.
The Mastiff pups are 5 weeks old now

Here is the mom an English Mastiff, fawn with black mask
and dad is a Cane Corso, Blue Brindle.
The pups are $300, with shots ,no papersLots of sno-people were built in the neighborhood ...

and a few dinosaurs too!I saw a fashion show
just kidding, ha.I made Tiramisu and used Amaretto instead of Kahlua it was so good!
There is a whole Tiramisu website!We are busy in the greenhouse,
We planted Lantana and other cuttings.
On Thursday we got a load of soil!
That means spring is on the way.

I will be so happy to see spring! Heck, I'll be happy to get out of the frozen south. Michigan never looked so good!

Is it weird that I just wanna jump in that dirt and roll around in it? Just dive in head-first and come springing out of the top of the pile.

Where to start...hooray for spring being on the way! That restaurant looks very interesting. Yum for tiramisu.... love the valentine card making project... you are always doing cool things with your nieces and nephews and I am sure they will remember it all as they mature.. I love the baby blanket.... is there a place I can find instructions on the net? Hope you have a great day!

That's a really cool mixer right there. I want some of those yellowjacket socks.
@Roadkill_Spatula - The mixer is really heavy and I was looking at new one but I thought if it still works why bother ,it is a powerhorse!
They don't make them like that anymore. You'd have to pay a lot of money for the equivalent.

You do more in a 7 days than I do in 7 weeks! Love that you took pictures of it all and shared it with us. I saw True Grit and loved it. Great little actress there. Nice to have little ones around to take to see Tangles. I want to see Gnomio and Juliette with y'all. I'm glad the little guy is feeling better. And I am glad to hear that Spring is on the way. No signs of it here yet.
