I love Pennsylvania in the winter time. It's beautiful anytime of year, but winter really does seem to be my favorite for it. I love how the snow looks on the old, old farm houses.

Great pictures. Cider was bred for the cold it looks like. Even my short haired border collies Sister and Newby love to run around in the bitter cold.

Beth, As always, I love your pics. I live near Houston and we seldom get snow, but I am not complaining. I think it is beautiful to see in pics and it would be even fun for a day or two but I would not want to deal with it as you all have to. Your place is absoutely beautiful and I think it is so great that you can live in such a remote place and yet visit all over the states and the world through xanga. I have been through your area one time on vacation and it was so beautiful. Texas, in my opinion, is not a pretty place although I have lived here most of my life. But the weather is good most of the time and jobs are plentiful so those are the pluses. It is a different world for people in different areas of the country. Our lives are so different. We are very fast paced here and I noticed the more relaxed and slower lifestyle in other places we visited on vacation. Thank you for sharing your gift of photography with all of us. I get on xanga a lot of times to see your and others pics and it is refreshing and uplifting.
