I'm Bringing The Pie...
hosted by ItsWhatEyeKnow
PIE JOKES
Jolene was only 8 years old and lived in the country with her parents and brother
Consequently they did not often have visitors from the city.
One day Jolene's mother said that father
was bringing two guests home for Thanksgiving supper.
After they had enjoyed the turkey, Jolene went to the kitchen to help her mother,
and proudly brought in the first piece of pumpkin pie and gave it to her father.
He then passed the plate to a guest.
When Jolene came in with the second piece and gave it to his father,
he again gave it to a guest.
This was too much for Little Jolene, who blurted out,
'It's no use, Daddy. The pieces are all the same size.'PIE QUOTES

The Greatest Pie Fights in Movies
Barf-o-rama!
From the movie 'Stand By Me'
This clip never fails to make me laugh out loud!
...and the fat lady barfed in her purse....
Driving Miss Daisy
I can not find a clip of it but my favorite Pie Scene
in a movie is from the end of Driving Miss Daisy.

In the show they are keeping a friends daughter for the weekend.
She is at the table doing her homework....
Gracie: " Tell me something from what you are working on"
The girl: "It is geometry and it won't make sense.

Wow this entry made me hungry for pie! I actually never been a huge fan of apple pie, though I went to an apple festival in my area and they had DELICIOUS apple pie. So I've decidedly changed my mind about it!

Thank you for the smiles and for the yummy recipe.
This year, I have about 100 limes on my key lime tree. Key lime pie is about to become a new tradition. I just saw a rare cut from the Soupy Sales show featuring guest Frank Sinatra. They had a pretty good pie fight there, maybe the best ever on live TV.
I like pie much better than cake.
One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is watching David Letterman guess what kind of pies his mother baked. I especially liked the quip from Gracie Burns . . . I start cooking and baking tomorrow night . .. .
I'm so glad I read this because now I'll remember to pick up the gluten-free pies tomorrow at the new GF bakery!! Yay!
