My handwriting has gotten messier as I get older. Even when I start out nice and neat, I end up sloppy. You're so talented; like Leonardo DaVinci. I did a post yesterday with my handwriting.

This is such a cool idea. You have gorgeous handwriting. I went through a phase where I loved to do calligraphy as a kid, but it was basically illegible.
Nice to know there are other ambi-back-or-forward-up-or-right-siders out there. (Though we still may be in the minority...) ;)

@WildWomanOfTheWest - I have always been able to write with both hands,and I figured out that I could use both at once when I was about 20. I can do hearts and circles and simple things besides handwriting.
I doodled the pic,I love lettering and patterns...I made this card too....

Hey!! I see we have something in common!! I went back and read the
I think I was 11 the first time I wrote my name
comments and I'm also ambidextrous and can write with both hands at
once..well, sorta.
with both hands at the same time, but I have to write backwards with my
left while writing forward with my right. More like a mirror image.
That's the only time I can write with my right hand is when I'm writing
backwards with my left. Think I may be mis-wired! LOL! I can draw
bilateral images with both hands, drawing one half with the left, the
other with the right. Now, send my right on a solo writing
assignment.. and it ain't happenin'! It handles the "heavy lifting"
projects like hammering, swinging a bat, playing tennis, cutting with
scissors, etc. My left is dominate when eating and writing.
OK,
that was a big comment, but I got so excited when I saw what you had
written about writing with both hands! I'll stop now. LOL!!

I'm right handed but I can write my name with both hands and yes it
comes out mirror imaged for me too!!

My left had is almost completely useless in writing, thankfully not so with typing. I can (after a bit of refresh practice) write fairly decently backwards. I like to write notes to my daughter that way and put them in her lunch box. She'll run giggling to the bathroom to use the mirror to read it.

really like to write M, S, T, W, J, G, R, X, Z. double S's . i really like to write chinese and japanese characters and old german writing too.

Omg yours are so beautiful. My styles of handwriting changes everyday, as all my teachers, classmates and friends say, but they always recognise all different styles of my 'unique' handwritting in my homework. lol
I did a handwriting thing once too on my old xanga. It's really cool just to see how others write. So much of who we are is captured in our handwriting, but so often we have to hide it behind fonts. When done thoughtfully and carefully, every handwritten message is itself a work of art.
