We have them all winter and I'm not really a fan. Well we have Canadian geese, not snow geese. Anyway... they are pretty when they fly.
I like it when my pelican buddy comes in may to sloan's lake edgewater
@IamDonnaC - We have Canadian Geese too almost all year long,these are different ,they are just passing through.

Cool, you also have a name for your camera. Mine's "Nikki" (although I believe there are hundreds of other Nikon users who use that name). That photo would be amazing if not for the overcast but it tells a whole different story.

I went to your 2007 blog and posted a comment there. The pictures in both the blogs are spectacular. I had written a poem last year about the trumpet geese. It was funny. It is a scary thought to visualize if all those geese were to shit at the same time.

Lots of these critters have been flying by here as well lately. Noisy buggers. You ever see any Trumpeter Swans? Sounds like you're right near a flight path where the geese are making their way north up to their breeding grounds. Honk!
