What's one thing gets you in the mood...
for Christmas?
I love to watch The Lemon Drop Kid.
This was the debut of "Silver Bells" .
I love this movie. It has the best cast and it's funny.
HERE is a post of other Christmas movies.
So what kicks off your holiday season?

When Rudulph The Red-Nosed Reindeer comes on TV it's time for Christmas
We always watch White Christmas on Christmas Eve while we wrap presents.
It's not really Christmas until we watch The Grinch, It's a Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Carol.
Yeah, that's a pretty good movie. I was thinking about it just the other day.
I usually get in the mood on Christmas Eve, after I've gotten my Christmas bonus!
Here we crank up the Christmas music, TransSiberian Orchestra is a favorite, start stringing up lights and light up the pine scented candles... after that the attic gets emptied and its Christmas all over! LOL
The Lemon Drop Kid is such a great movie!
Getting the (artificial) tree up, and listening to Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas album!

Honestly~ I could be sitting in the middle of the desert~ next to a cactus with a flashlight~ and be in the Christmas mood. I don't think it ever leaves me.
I usually love Christmas but I am having a awful time getting into it this year. Nothing is working this year. I hope something comes along and gets me in the mood.
I just can't really get into it until I am with my brothers and sisters and their families. Guess I could stick some bows on the kitties, but don't think they would like it.
Hope you are having a good season!
Music always gets me into the spirit more then anything. I love Christmas music and don't ever get tired of it. Charlie Brown Chistmas is one of my favorites and almost any of the old Christmas movies.
"Mary's Boy Child," as sung by Boney M.
I've been trying to find good holiday movies for the kids and I. they are rebelling against It's a Wonderful Life this year.
@angi1972 - A Christmas Story it is! No kid rebels against that!!
Hearing Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas & watching The Preacher's Wife.
Carols by Candlelight. The first one of the season is on this coming Saturday and we're planning to go to it.
??? Chipmonks roasting on an open fire... er Chestnuts... i meant chestnuts roasting on an open fire!
When Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer comes on TV. As soon as it comes on, I'm digging the Christmas ornaments out of the attic.
Snow and Xmas lights along the river.
For me it is putting Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in the front yard. It took me 3 years to find one we could afford and I got it at a reduced price from Wal-Mart, for $35 when it should have been $45. The lights we put up are nice too but the lit figures are what make it Christmas for me.
Christmas carols...but only after Thanksgiving please!
