September Mornings
September Mornings are about my favorite mornings.The warmth of the day and the cool of night by the creek produce a brisk foggy morning with some of most gorgeous first light trying to work it's way thru the fog.When I take my walk it is a splendid sight.This morning there was an arch of sunshine with a slight rainbow over the soybean field casting a golden glow,it was hard to capture.
There were other rays of light pushing thru too...
Here are a few random pix from the morning also...
My Home.The flowers are Pink Mandevillas and below them is Purple Knight Alternanthera.There are Orange Profusion Zinnias by the old wheel.
This is a "Bright Corner"
that my husband wanted to show me on a neighboring farm.

It was foggy here early too... but I was in bed, not out taking pictures!
Are you admiring the little blonde girl, or the dark haired one that I took a bunch of pictures of? The blonde was the flower girl, the other one is my granddaughter and the little blonde boy in some of the pictures with her is my grandson... they are like night and day... sunshine and shadow....
Oh, how lovely....what time of the morning do you take your walk. It looks pretty early to me...I'm probably just rolling over and turning on the tv to see if I should get out of bed or just stay there that early..
I love the rays of light
They brighten up the day
If not the night.
Knowing they're the in the morning is no warning
It's warming,
Not alarming.
And the farm looks warm. . .
that's just awesome! i wish it looked like that around here but it doesn't...lol.
I remember mornings like that growing up in Pennsylvania. In my heart, I will always be a country girl. Thank you for sharing your beautiful walk with us!

Very nice! The fog was thick here this morning too. We've had some rain the past few days, finally, and so the fog rolls in with it. It does make for nice picture taking though.

btw, I love sunflowers.
ryc: I was in South Carolina and we stopped in a Krispy Kreme and got 'em hot. They were yummy but I still prefer them cold. And yes, it is very hard to stop at just one, or two, or three....(?) glazed donuts, especially if you have a good cuppa java at hand, which is kind of a prerequisite to the consumption of glazed donuts anyway.
I like other donuts too, particularly creme filled but not with custard. Creme: good Custard: bad
ryc: Did you read rockwren's comment about the "Broken Prune" donut shop? Google it to check it out.
Have you ever had a Krispy Kreme glazed creme filled donut? It isn't like the creme filled donuts that you were describing (and I agree with your description for a good one 100%) but yummy nonetheless in its own right.

ryc: Wow she must have been mortified! Actually, after that happened I checked myself out discreetly on the bus, but nothing was out of order. I concluded that the guy was just being obnoxious.

the cool of the night makes my bones ache. but your pictures are to die for.
when I pick up Kevin in the am for work its really neat to see how some areas have fog laying like a thick blanket on the fields....how did the pix of us at Olive Garden come out

September has been lovely here this year too. it's rather unpredictable, these transitional months, knowing what to expect in areas like the 'nati or in VA where humidity can be overbearing and downright oppressive.

What glorious photos! I miss living where I used to near farms and woods. The cool air of a September morning. The "smell" of fall. Don't really get that here in Florida now. Many times I "just want to go home". Funny, I have been in Florida 9 years.... it still doesn't feel like home.
