Pansies,Violas,Ranunculus and Primroses,
all ready to be planted as soon as the snow melts!!

I got hundreds of footprints from California going thru my whole site in minutes,tags,photos,posts,comments.

WOW! That's a lot to maintain! I wish I could walk through those buildings and smell that wonderful smell of earth and growing things. I mostly just have houseplants, although one summer I tried container gardening on the balcony of our apartment. It was not that successful! Blessings on your day.

I swear you and I have so much in common! I dont have the privlage of owning a green house but I worked at one for years and it was my favorite job! I love flowers and dirt and all that stuff, minus the worms.

It's spring, it's spring. I am in the process of mowing my lawn for the first time. I will hold off planting anything outside until after Easter. I have learned the hard way that this is usually a killer frost between spring-like weather and Easter.

ryc: I've got a recipe for Green Chile Stew I may blog sometime. That's about it though. It was an all-you-can-eat cafeteria style restaurant so we used cheap ingredients which lead to a very mediocre dining experience. The stew is the only thing I cook from those days.

Where is the picture in your background? Is that your house? Are those red flowers azaleas or rhododendrons?? Those two don't do well out here where we live. Does all your family work in the greenhouse? I love planting and gardening but I have to have gloves because I can't stand that dirt under my fingernails. Can't grow long nails so what I have bites the dust once I get out in the dirt. Just slap some polish on and go! LOL!!
The chipmunks here have come out so they can start plotting how to dig up my patio planters. The squirrels are in cahoots with them too, as the neighbors behind us feed them peanuts, so of course, they have to "deposit" them in my patio planters!
