Just beautiful! Spring is popping through that snow!!!
Kathi
I got a little trigger-happy there. I meant to add that the photo looks like it should be made into a note card. Wouldn't that be pretty?
Very Nice~!!!.....Great way to start off the week
Oh Poor crocuses! Luckily mine didn't come up before we got dumped on last night. They do look pretty in all of that snow though. Ang
Lovely. I love the poppies, also. They are one of my favorite flowers.
very beautiful.....like you!!
have a great day and a wonderful week sweetie!!!
Pretty, pretty
took me a while there to figure out they were in snow- at first I thought it was some form of abstract art, lol! now that I get it, they are very picturesque:) i agree with the postcard comment- that's a great idea- especially since Easter's around the bend...
Good morning, friend. Spring is coming. No, really. It is.
Old Hat
Beautiful.... spring is defintly just around the corner!
Hugs'n'Smooches!
That background picture you have also reminds me of some of the pictures mom and I took while she was up here... The house all overgrown with the stone entry wall that is just up the road from me.
It's lovely! Oh... Spring is screaming through the snow. WEDNESDAY she arrives!!!!
YAY SPRING! Bring it on! It's been spitting sleet and snow most of the day here.
I know you are ready for some spring!
oh ! so thats what tiny crocus means.
so that's a crocus! Gorgeous! Unless it's a daisy, a cosmos, a rose, or a tulip, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to different flowers.
Spring is on its way.
How pretty... a hint of what's to come!! And Thanks!! That's really cool!!!
I love to see the crocus blooms poke through the snow SWEET!!!!
We may have some crocus coming up but right now they are covered with snow..
There is nothing that gives me more hope than seeing crocuses popping their little heads through the snow. Thank God spring is almost here!!
I love crocus because when I was a little girl they came up through the snow. They showed me clearly Spring was on its way. Judi
There is a lawn full of crocuses just in front of a gas station here. It is beautiful and inspiring.
I love bulbs. So cool how they just magically come back each year.
Hope you are having a good day. I decided that tomorrow I am opening all the windows and let the spring time in.
My magnolia started blooming yesterday and my other flowering trees are folowing close behind. It looks like spring suddenly! I love the icicle pics from the weekend! Very cool! Sorry I have not been around to comment I will be better now.
Sprint is officially here, yet I keep on seeing pictures up North of snow. Snow? Isn't that so last month? I for one am happy to go to work without multiple layers.
I like the new background. How are you? Sorry havent been a round in a while finding time to write doesnt seem to happen to much lately.
What a gorgeous background picture, one of yours no doubt. I loved poppies as a child, we would use the centers with stamp pads and make pretty wrapping paper. You know I am flower-crazy and much beguiled by spring. You are such a happy-maker, Cyber Daughter. Happy Spring to you and yours!
pretty!
So pretty! I am so ready for spring! None of my bulbs are even up yet. Have a good week!
Hey Bethy Boo... you are in the magazine this week! whoo hoo!
Hope it all happens soon for you...summer is practically here, where i am at! *lol* very hot this weekend.
did you paint that? it's lovely! i would say your username is quite meaninful too..(and i imagine it has a lot to do with some sort of interest in flowers)
Absolutely love your site! And thanks for visiting me! Stop by again soon! I am going to subscribe to you at this very moment! Have a great Monday Eve.
Beautiful picture..........hugs lady.
I'm very impressed by the interest you have in flowers and beautiful earthly things. I wish I could appreciate beauty more, but I can't help looking away very quickly sometimes. I have a tendency to look more at the things less appealing to remind myself that life isn't all beautiful. I guess this is why I like art that portrays old, tired, and wrinkled people rather than gorgeous models.
Sorry a random person is commenting. I just thought I'd add a few words
Just today I was looking at the new sprouts from the crocus bulbs I planted last year. I'm all about the bulbs.
I am ready for spring!!!
Hey, I want to plant some seeds in my yard this spring. Do you know anything about that? What do I do? Is there an up side and a down side on a seed? If I plant them upside down will the roots grow up out of the ground and the leaves grow down? How many watermellons can I grow in a 6" clay pot? Do zallias come in different colors? I have so many questions and no answers? What do I do? What do I do? Did I spell zallia right? What kinda ivy is that growing on the side of the house in your background picture? Can I get some of that too? Tomatoes... Which kind are the best? are fried green tomatoes really ok to eat? Is it true that you can die from eating a green potatoe? Do you like sweet potatoes? I think sweet potatoes are disgusting, but I like red russet potatoes. Do you like red russet potatoes? did you ever have red russet potatoes? I did. I grew them once. Did you know that?
ooooooooo lorilily just broght me a plate of snickerdoodles and a glass of milk.... Thank you Donkey where ever you are!!!
I have to go now. Think about what I said and don't let it happen again.
ryc - omg...my neighbor is really out there. I mean REALLY out there. Can't wait to catch mroe insanity this summer on film.
you background is really nice. i like it!
Love this picture! Isn't today the first day of spring? RYC: That sounds wonderful. My father has worked in a family run auto body shop his entire life so I know alittle about paint and dings and dents and scuffs. This guy wasn't dealing with no dummy!Have a great day! Sherri
RYC: Maybe someone who prefers guacamole???
Aloysius_son has lots of questions! Oh! My! He had better eat those sinckerdoodles!
beautiful flowers. thanks
That's pretty! Spring is everywhere! ryc: I'm jealous too! Someone in Pa said they heard about my son on a radio show up there, pretty cool! After being pulled over right away his first impressions of Key West were not good
RYC: Nope, not feeling blue, but it is one of my favorite colors! Just decided to change things up a bit.
The harbinger of spring. I do miss them as I neve seem to be far enough north to see them when they first come out. FL doesn't have the climate for them. Need to put some in my TN bed, just to say they are there.
very pretty. Is the background picture of your place?
Hubby and I walked the 1/2 mile from our house to Tim Hortons and had sausage, egg and cheese biscuits with large coffees. On the way back I saw crocuses blooming in someone's yard. My daffodils are coming up and my "space plants". I call them that because I forgot their name! They get about 2 1/2 feet tall and first look like gooseheads on top. A week or 2 later the heads open up and the little blooms hang down like little teardrops in a chandelier. They are very pretty and people who walk by while I am out in the yard always comment on them.
I need to amend my flower beds and think about splitting my irises and trying to put them in a bed to see how they will do there, as an experiment.
