Love from Xanga Friends
Yesterday I came in for lunch after a very hard morning of work and bent down to pick-up the mail laying on the step.My 90 year old Mother-in-law walks out to the mailboxes
to get the mail everyday and puts it on our steps,if we are in she will holler "Fe-mailman!!!!" ,she cracks me up!!! I saw two letters for me,I did not recognize the names or addresses,and I assumed they were Christmas cards.I opened them up and was so touched that I had to cry

I did nor realize that when I started Xanga to keep up with some of the kids in the youth group at church that I would come to make new friends who I really care about and be a part of a new family!! I didn't even know that you could go on sites of people that you didn't know!!!!

I find it amazing too~~ I only started an account at my daughter's encouragement~~ I had been e-mailing her comments to her xanga posting. I'm such a goofball. She would then post my e-mails onto her site. sigh. So~~ I gave in~~ how glad I am that I did~~ God has really blessed me~~ I had no idea there would actually be other old ladies out there~~ willing to laugh, vent, cry, encourage~~ amazing. This is so beautiful. I'm actually tearing up a little. This is so wonderful. Maybe one day when I feel safe I'll open up more on Xanga so that I can make real life friends through here...

Xanga does broaden your horizons don't it? I started xanga because of my neice last November. I really started having fun with it though when I met some folks through some common friends.
I think what I really like is that I am "meeting" people like you and dingdongdingbat and others that are just totally cool people. It kind of makes this country not seem quite so big too.

I am constantly amazed by the people I meet online, Xanga in particular. Most of them have been great caring people who have truely enriched my life. I realize Thanksgiving is over, but I am very thankful for that.

That's sweet! I have met lots of great people on Xanga, too. I miss America and Americans, and it has been so nice to be able to chat with folks from home. My sister kept telling me I should join up, and I am so glad now I did. Now my husband is on too! I have been talking other people into joining! My Mom who is 84 is also on, but she doesn't write much. She does like to cruise around and read, and since two of her daughters, her son-in-law and three of her grandchildren are on, she has plenty to read! I'm glad you got such a special treat snail mail, too! I got a birthday card today from a friend in the States, and that was also special. Be blessed!

Hi, found you on Gabriel Peter's site. I have made some xanga friends whom I have come to love dearly too. Two of them I actually got to meet back in September when I went to California. My post today was a thank you to one young friend who wrote a special post just for me. It made me cry too.

It is nice to get something other than a bill in the mail for a change. Every once in a while my best friend from high school sends me something or calls. A nice break.
RYC: I have actually lived long enough to see that happen a couple times in my life. It can be sweet or bitter sweet. I prefer sweet.
Sometimes xanga can be an amazing place and it is all do to the awesome people who roam xanga.
I'd have to say "Blailman!" He's a cool black dude. Well that doesn't surprise me at all Beth. You are so loved because you are genuinely a beautiful person. That is a rare thing. Take care Beth. I love you!
