That food looks yummy...hold on..First!
Okay, now....like I was saying, that food looks good. I've never tried eggplant or "gargonzola" (which sounds like Spanish slang for loogie)...but I bet it's delicious! If I did decide to go to the Xanga meet...I'd just show up and not tell anyone. I'd wear a wig and glasses and maybe even a cowboy hat and pointy boots!
We also adore this place! Sounds like a wonderful night! Have a wonderful day!!!
Kimberly
Everyone is posting food today nd it is making me so hungry!! Ths all looks so good. I'd have to hit the Scampi and dessert first though just to be sure. You know good friends always make food taste better. Why is that? Have a great day. Ang
Well you know how to get my attention. The food looks great. I wish I could be ther to meet you all but I will most likely be on the other coastline at about that time.
Have a great day

i've been to that restaurant before.

Double chocolate cake stopped me dead in my tracks!! It all looks good, though! I'll bet that salad was awesome with the Granny Smith Apples...Mmm mmm!!

That really sounds like a lot of fun. I love places like that.
I am soooooo hungry now!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Can you say yummy! That looks gorgeous; I'd love to have a plate of everything up there.
thanks..now I am starving..lol....when is the meeting?
Beth,
Thanks for asking! I like my job pretty well. It's a lot of work, but I feel like I'm starting to find a rhythm. I'm really enjoying teaching science, and math's not too bad either. And I feel like I am making a difference in the kids' lives, which is the most important thing.
~Melissa
PS-How do you get so many comments?
Buca rocks! we have one just down the street from us and we like to take people for special occasions- you don't leave hungry! and the knick knacks are hilarious!

Yay it's going to be so much fun! <3 <3 <3
We have never been there to eat! I always wanted to try it! I might have to sometime really soon!
My aunt didn't tell me about the train theme. My son will just LOVE it!!
well hell...we will be a a military function that weekend with W's unit........
Ohhhhhhhh, ouch, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I started a diet last night...
Everything looks delicious!! I'm watching what I eat too between now and Christmas, but I'd have to sneak a taste of that Double Dark Chocolate Cake. YUMMMY!
Would love to come and see the show. Don't know if we'd be able to make it up to PA though. We're pretty busy from now till the first of the year. I look forward to the pics.
Have a great weekend!!
i SO wish i lived close to you!!!!
What an absolutely divine dinner! I'd have trouble choosing just one dessert. I sure wish I lived close enough to you all to go the Xanga gathering! I hope everyone takes lots of pictures!

gah! I feel jealous... I never had authentic italian food... only the kind of italian food you can get in macaroni grill... their food my be good but I don;t think it is completely authentically italian... itmight be but I dunno becuase I dunno that much about the italian culture.. I'm culturly deprived... oh well...
good to know that you had some great food and stuff
FACEOFDOOMNESS
I wonder if they [the old ladies] even realize they're so. . .old lady like. . .
Probably not. And that's for the best I guess. Acting the way you are, just because it's the way you are, instead of "trying to be" something for others.
A xanga meet sounds like a pretty cool idea. Not that I'd be close enough to attend, or that any of the people I'd like to meet would be there (one of them's in China, lol) but it's a great idea all the same.
RYC: phooey! i won't be up in time for the show, i'm not sure exactly when we'll be coming up to PA or when sam will be driving over to meet us, but i'll check with everyone and see if somehow we can come see you guys- will let ya know!
Oh mu goodness, it looks like it would be worth the trip just to eat that food. The salad looks fantastic.. Doc would love it to. I think we would have to go for the sample plate...
The poinsetta display sounds so wonderful..
You've went and done it!! Made me hungry for Italian!! I love Italian food and would eat it regularly if I could. I love pasta and sauces and bread and rich desserts! Everything sounded and looked delicious! Have a great weekend.
Ok, now I’m hungry.
I've been to this restaurant before, too. Delicious. But, must bring a good-sized crowd with you to eat.
Christy
LOKS ABSOLUTELY DELISHIOUS
Even though I just ate, I am hungry again. The food looks great.
RYC: thank you for the comment. My daughter is actually very rude and confused. She doesnt mean to be, but it something I must learn to live with and she has to learn to control. She has Aspergers Syndrome. It's a learning prosses for us all.
Youth Conservation Corps...sounds like a fantastic opportunity. Was it a volunteer thing or was it a paid position??
How did you first hear about it and what about it sounded appealling to you??
Christy
Working for the National Park Service.. now, that's different.. Sounded like a very important job for conservation and maintaining trails, etc.
How did you find out about this job?? Or, was it a volunteer service?
Christy
Mmm...that salad was fantastic, wasn't it? I need to eat at Buca more often.
P.S. Don't forget that Englisher will be at the xanga meet too! And probably most of her siblings as well...
Sure sounded like a great meal and it looked wonderful. yummmmmy
Thanks for the anniversary wish - you are a sweetheart.

Mmmm! Chocolate Cake! Yum!
It's true; I'll be hanging out at the greenhouse 'cause I kinda work for Beth's husband and that weekend I'm pretty much going to be living at the Poinsettia Show.
That food looks DE-Licious!!!! I heard of that place ... it's in Reading, right?? I don't get out much!! But, I'm so glad I will be coming to the Xanga reunion!! I'm really looking forward to it!!
Wow .. big accident in Oley ... that was horrible. I hate that intersection .. there are always accidents there. You know it's big when Oley is on Channel 6 news!!!
Have a wonderful weekend, Beth!!!
Alicia
I don't know the other people coming to the reunion, but it will be fun to meet some local Xangites!!!

Hey Girl! Sounds like a fun place! It's not Grandma's but fun! Blessings!
I love that restaurant. The food is soooooo good! Have a great weekend! Love,
You know...I realized my mouth was starting to water when I saw this...
I've only been to Bucco Di Beppo's once (cause it's such a fancy, fine, and a little more $pen$ive place, and a little out of the way from where I live) but seeing this makes me want to go again!
You have the coolest entries!
Thank you
My goal is to be able to make my point and not piss everyone off so much they stop listening. I am not so certain I have been able to do that.
Now its party time, off to the Yellow Beak tavern. Live music and hot boys, at lest that is what I am told.
And don’t worry about me I am not all that wild anymore.
