ROFL! Love that wet jeans pic!! HAHAHAHA! I loved Tom Jones,too...I forgot about him. And he still looks good today!!
wow I don't remember my very first crush. I am a little young for Vinnie.lol. Oh now I remember it was Micheal Jackson.
Mine were David Cassidy (Partridge Family), Davy Jones (The Monkees) and Paul McCartney (The Beatles)!! Oh my, what fond memories. My Mama LOVED Tom Jones. I always said if she had gotten the chance to see him in person, she'd be one of the women who threw their panties on the stage! LOL
Only when you laugh? when I cough, sneeze, blink my left eye too fast... LOL...
Loved last night's post, what sweet kids...
David Cassidy, and Bobby Sherman. Man how old are we??? I had posters of these guys on my wall.
I am trying to think who I thought was hot in the 80's??? By the end of 70's I was pretty enthralled with Robert Plant, and Roger Daltry.
Thanks for dropping by, and congrats on being featured. I love to see a friends name in the featured list. It lets me know people on Xanga read real stuff.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs, Tricia
they were both good posts...
lol good post...I need to scurry over and read xcholo's and cynara's
Team Tom Jones!
hee hee I was just talking about Vinnie B yesteday at the walk
ryc: I think I'm going to just touch up the old one since I can't decide what new one to get.
Okay first i'm going to go find some Depends then go to the links that made you laugh that hard.
Oh you brought back memories, Bobby Sherman!!! ooooooohhhh and then Donnie Osmond and David Cassidy. I wasn't sure what "Made my putter flutter" meant back then but now I know that those three did!!!! haha
I am trying to remember. I never really got into the crush thing with people on tv. I did like the little guy that rode the school bus with us. At church camp there was always these older guys who were camp counslers. It was kind of hard to compete with all the other girls.
I love the wet jeans!!!! I'd love to give you 100 e-props for this post too. David Carradine????WTF? I loved Kung Fu...awesome show, but I always thought that he was fugly! I guess I don't see it. Welcome Back Kotter was a hell of a good show! I used to watch the sweathogs! I liked Freddy "boom boom" Washington! He was the coolest! And that song "Welcome back Kotter" was so good!I have a lot of Engelbert Humperdinks songs! My mother loves his music to death! I think she soaks her jeans (in a naughty way) when she hears him sing "Cuando Cuando Cuando!" I'm going to link you Beth!
Davy Jones and The Monkees , Gary Lewis and The Playboys ( Jerry Lewis's son), Tom Jones, David Cassidy was a heartbreaker, Starsky and Hutch had it going on. My new crush is Josh Groban and his voice melts me hard.
Now one thing I havent peed in my britches for a long time. I think the last time was when I was pregnant and my water broke. Then it all broke loose. However I could use a good lagh to do that again. I will let you know if I pee in my britches again afterwards. Funny one.
the bible verse at the end is a little random...
first crush. Well... not having had a tv until I was 13 meant that the first person I had a crush on was someone I knew. I can't for the life of me remember who it was - there are about 3 candidates. None of their names would mean the smallest jot to you or, indeed, anyone else on xanga.
since your post was about crushes, the verse should definitely come from song of solomon!
and next time, make a post which fits Jeremiah 29:10 (or it could be 11)
You are too dang funny. I love the post and the pics. I also remember in my house for a while a tv on tv but our console was a long one with a stereo and turntable in it. But your pic of it was great, you made me laugh. You three have worked up a lot of old memories. Thanks again for the post.
Hope that your day is a great one.
^^I hope people up there weren't serious. I thought that it was a perfect scripture for this post! There's a time for laughter!
MICK JAGGER HERE!!! I also liked the quiet ones....George Harrison of the Beatles and Peter Tork of the Monkees.......when I got in my 20s I loved Elvis.....i couldn't stand david cassidy! (sorry!)
and as for peeing my pants........I'm afraid to say it hasn't been all that long ago for me!!! LOL
God bless you and yours and have a great week! ((HUGS))
Ok, I'll tell too Farrah Fawcet... Oh baby!
(Of course now it's all lorililly!)
lol
Tommy Lee from Motley Crue (-:
David Cassidy was my very first, then Shaun Cassidy, then Rex Smith, then Sting!
RYN: YAY! I'm not alone in crying! lol
That is one of my favorites too by Chris Tomlin....now another favorite is made to worship off he new cd.
You guys are funny. I can't remember .... but I keep reading and going OH YEAH!.... Oh yeah.... yep....LOL
*HUGZ*
You're really not in trouble until you start searching eBay for back issues of Tiger Beat.
Thanks for the visit!!
I think mine was Scott Baio or Davy Jones ..
Leif Garrett.......I thought he was the hottest!! What fun remembering this.....Have a great week!
What? No Greg or Peter Brady? *tsk tsk*
Hi Beth! =)
LOL! Well, I actually had a crush on Laurie Metcalf when I was in grade school. She was in my 2nd through 6th grade classes and she was very cute back then! I never much cared for her TV personae on Roseanne...
i love how you can be so honest on here and no one judges you- i peed myself in middle school once and that moment forever made me an outsider to my classmates all the way through graduation- scarring really
as for first loves, hmm... maybe Kel from All That on Snick? i don't know- i really wasn't much of a crusher when i was younger
This was a great blog, loved reading it and seeing the comments, made me smile! Okay, so, my baby makes me laugh that hard....she's so funny and doesn't even know it. OHMYGOSH, I was soooo inlove with Fonzi...I joined his fan club and I had a fonzi doll and you could push a little button and his thumb would go up .....
Hmm. My first loves were...are you ready...kirk cameron and john stamos. YIKES!
RYC: What angle were you looking from because I can still only see Jesus...strange. I would think I would see the rabbits...
RYC: Glad you could be among a couple of your favorite xangans. I've had good company at my site, so come back often.
I remember it was me and bobby sherman all the way, but I also like MJ. until he turned to to freak boy.
Beth did you really piss your jeans?! *lol* Or is that water? That's funny...
RYC: lucky you you had a mom that made you Barbie clothes. I used to get a lot of Barbie stuff, i had the shopping mall/townhouse, the van, dune buggy and the bath tub that made bubbles. I wasnt really interested after setting everything up.
But girl i totally remember the Panasonic player you are talking about. It had a handle that you can pull up and push down, huh? And the door on the front looked tinted...i remember I scratched up the door when i would shove it into my Big Wheel back seat storage! *lol* Mine was Red.
I also loved and still love Tetherball! Wasnt that fun?
Oh you brought back some memories. RYC: I play mandolin also--same tuning, generally, as fiddle. I taught myself mandolin but am finding that the bowing is tricky on fiddle so a teacher is a great help.
Lol... that link you sent me was too funny. I definitely felt that way earlier tonight!
Oh, awesome! I'm so excited to move there.
What do you usually do when you visit?
hahah Funny entry!
Funny the wet jeans. I think my first great crush was Elvis. Get a good nights sleep, sweet dreams. Judi
THis is soooo fun!! And I cant even remember the last time I laughed so hard that I peed my pants, even a little! Good times
too funny!!!
ryq: i'll be home all day tuesday
I haven't laugh like that and pee on myself since I was like 10yrs old.
My first crush was Johnny depp when he was on 21Jump street and Michael jackson.
I can't remember who my first crush was .. it was so long ago ... but I do remember laughing so hard that I peed my pants (just a little!!).
Oooh ... I'm so excited for our Xanga three-way!! I didn't know there would be some of your famous sauerkraut and hotdogs!! Can't wait to wrap my mouth around one of those puppies!!! You should serve Buttery Nipples, too. Omg ... they are sooo good ... so funny about your hubby asking what they were. I think the non-menonite side should try one!!!
Have a great Monday ... can't wait until December 1st!! (Everybody is going to be sooo jealous of us .. definitely a great photo op evening!!)
Alicia
I do believe my first crush was on Donnie Osmond and Leif Garrett. They both were so hott back then. And if I do say so myself....Donnie Osmond is still pretty damn hott....lol.
Love your list....all good crushes.
Hope you have a nice week!
Oh my word~~ you crack me up!! I've tinkled in my pants from laughing so hard~~ or jumping on the trampoline~~ but all I did was run to the laundry room and wash them! LOL Guess I'm too predictable.
Shawn Cassidy~~ Leif Garrett~~ Scott Baio~~ and one of the guys from High Chapperal~~ but I can't even remember his name. But he sure was purty! Tamy
Ooohhh I had a crush on Bobby Sherman, too.
And like beadbrat, I pee my pants when I laugh, sneeze, cough...
Oh my god!! Did you ever just wisp me off back in time. I'm grinning from ear to ear. I had Bobby Sherman posters all over my bedroom. I was so mad when he got married. You forgot Leif Garret-he was such a hottie back then too. Davy Jones lives close to me and a few years ago he was sitting at the table beside me in BJ's resturant. I kept saying to my husband-that's Davy Jones!!! He's like-Who? Davy Jones-you know from the Monkeys!!! He says," No it's not" I kept insisting, so he said well go get his autograph. My responce to that is,"No way, I don't have the guts to do that." So I watched him finish his meal and then when he left the table next to me said, yes that was Davy Jones he comes in here alot. Do you remember Tony Defranco and the Defranco family? I think the song went like this (It's a heart beat -love beat and when we meet it's a good sensation) Well anyway I'm going to check out what had you laughing so hard. Happy Monday.
Hi Seedsower,
Thanks for stopping by my site. What a great idea for the wedding!! I hope you don't mind if I use it for my daughter's wedding, whenever it is!! I browsed through some of your previous blogs, I hope you don't mind and I loved the pics of the Sierra and also the story of making applesauce. My mom makes applesauce too and the thought of canning makes me think of home and family. You do look like your mom I think. I look like mine too. She has a picture of her when she was in high school and I resemble her a lot. More than my 4 sisters even.
Our church had a Family Harvest Festival in lieu of Halloween where kids could come and have fun in a safe setting. We had inflatable jumping/sliding stations and horse rides, free food and candy too. It was a great outreach and people loved it. We do it every year and every year it gets better.
Stop by my site whenever you can. Have a great day.
Just wanted to stop by and say hello and say thanks for stopping by~* I had to laugh at the comment about Tiger Beat lol...I used to save every penny of my allowance for those....lol
Ohhh.. I forgot all about Davy Jones..........hhmmmmmm.
: ) RYC: Not too many people find Nicolas attractive. For me it's the eyes, the smile, and the reassuring voice
BTW I think that verse is just fine for todays post. There is a time for everything.
I've laughed that hard before

That made me laugh too.
I don't see how David Cassidy is that funny. Keep your pants dry next time.
